RE: Medical waste containing radioactive material
Bob,
You might want to contact COSTAR in Cambridge, Mass at
1-800-492-1110. They had an autoclave bag for mixed waste a few years back.
I'm not sure if they are still around but the bag catalog number was #8460.

Subject: Medical waste containing radioactive material
Hello: I have a researcher who wishes to use radioactive material
with
tuberculosis (tB). We will need to autoclave the waste without
generating
contamination in the autoclave. I use to use this filter device for
the
same purpose at another institute at which I worked. However, the
name of
the device and the company that sold it escapes me. Can anybody help
me
with with the name and company? you can email me at
caspar@aecom.yu.edu.
Thank you.
