Peter,

Thank you for posting your comments, and request for feedback.

I firmly believe that the HPS needs to change its name in order to 
promote what the members actually do, and what they are involved in. 
Our role is radiation safety. While each of our own acountabilities 
may be focused differently, the bottom line as to why we do what we 
do is to promote and ensure radiation safety, for ourselves, our 
family, our co-workers and members of the general public.

The name Radiation Safety Society is as good as any, and as long as 
SAFETY is highlighted, I think we'd all be better off when we state 
that we are members of this Society.
