solar power

It doesn't matter in that way. On a per acre basis, panels in Portland ,Or; Traverse City, MI; and Rochester, NY are going to produce a different amount of solar power than the equivalent acre in Miami, FL; Dallas, TX; and Honolulu, HI. Even so, whose roof is going to be providing for the air conditioning at 3:00am in August, or the third overcast day in a row during that winter storm?

The most roof panels can do is suppliment daytime home use, Industry will still need a generator somewhere else. And who is going to make up the cost differential between solar panels and fibergalss shingles? No one in central Ohio has stepped up for that one.
