Meeting Announcement: 11th Annual Eberline User Conference



    The 11th  Annual Eberline User Group Conference will be held August 8th thru the 10th in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The meeting will be held at the "Marriot CourtYard" in Santa Fe on Cerrillos Road.    
     The Eberline User Group meeting is open to all users of Eberline, Xetex, ESM and National Nuclear equipment. There is no meeting fee. The meeting allows the participants to get together in an informal atmosphere to discuss common problems and solutions. Papers are presented with a wide range of topics relevant to the Nuclear Power, DOE, Medical, Industrial Hygiene and Health Physics communities.
     The Eberline User Group Meeting will be useful for anyone responsible for Radiation Monitoring instrumentation, whether for operation, calibration, repair or regulatory complience. Some of the subjects covered include: Passive internal monitoring, Free release criteria, RadNet, Personnel Monitoring, Laundry and small article monitoring, Scrap/Vehicle monitoring, HPIC, Automated Health Physics Data handling, Electronic dosimetry, air sampling, Final site closeout surveys, Radon discrimination, ANSI-N323, Source checking and Equipment repair and operational issues.
     Tours of Eberlines facilities and the Calibration Lab at the Los Alamos National Laboratory are planned.
