RESRAD Workshop in Oak Ridge

Dear Radsafers,

Argonne National Laboratory and the U. S. department of Energy will conduct
a RESRAD training workshop on June 19-22, 2000 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This
training workshop will include 3 computer codes, RESRAD, RESRAD-BUILD, and
RESRAD-RECYCLE. The RESRAD code focuses on radioactive contaminants in soil
and their transport in air, water, and biological media to a single
receptor. RESRAD-Build is designed to perform residual radioactive material
dose assessments in buildings for one or more individuals. RESRAD-Recycle is
designed to perform residual radioactive material dose assessments to
recycle industry workers and the consumers of recycled products made from
radioactively contaminated materials. All workshop attendees will receive a
copy of three codes, user's manuals, and other training materials. For
registration, please contact Carol Ealy at (630) 252-5677 or email at
carole_ealy@anl.gov. More information can be found at the RESRAD web site,
