RE: specific activity



It's the basic activity equation, A = lambda * N, where A is specific
activity, lambda is the decay constant, and N is the number of atoms per
gram.

Lambda = (ln 2) / half-life

N = (Avogadro's Number of atoms / mole) * (1 mole / X grams) * [1 uCi / (3.7
E 4 d/s)]

In this instance the half-life must be expressed in seconds.
