RE: Planning a Seed Implant Following a TURP
You can implant a prior TURP patient (we have done 2 so far) provided that
1) not too much tissue has been removed and 2) allowance is made to NOT
place any seeds in the defect. ie. plan seeds around the defect.
In other words, the patient should be carefully selected.

I thought that one couldn't use the Seattle Method, after a
TURP
(trans-urethral resection of prostate). I don't know that I
ever heard why
(assuming that I heard correctly to begin with), but the
first thing that
comes to the mind of a layman is all of the scarring that
results. This is
one I'll really be interested to hear the real story on.
