DOE recycling program

I have been approached by one of our local TV stations regarding the
proposed recycling of materials from the DOE universe with low levels of
fixed contamination. The reporter seems to have reached the independent
conclusion that while awareness is good, there is nothing to really be
concerned about in the program. She has asked if I would be willing to be
interviewed to provide balance to the rabid anti-radiation position which is
so prevalent out there.

As in the past I am hoping the list can provide me with some information, or
guidance to sources of factual information, regarding the program and
risk/benefit, cost/benefit analyses that may have been done. I am currently
on vacation and so have set radsafe to postpone, but will be able to check
e-mails sent directly to me at the address below. I have a little time to
prepare as the interview is not until late this month with the piece set to
air in October or November. Thank you in advance for you help.
