Sounds like heresy to me! <grin> I bet next you're going to propose that we chemically process the spent fuel so that we can re-use plutonium and uranium, aren't you? Knowing you, you might even propose that we build some sort of reactor ... hmm ... let's call it a "breeder" for convenience, that actually produces as much or more plutonium than it uses. Heresy ... absolute heresy!
