Yes, strontium in any isotopic form can cross the placenta.
The tooth buds for the primary teeth are formed 'in utero'. Therefore
strontium being an analogue for calcium would be taken up by the rudimentay
tooth buds in the fetus.
How much of the 'final' amount taken up would be a function of calcium
metabolism which is not static.
