Cascade Chapter HPS Meeting ANNOUNCEMENT



This is just to remind you that we are still accepting confirmations for our
Cascade Chapter's Fall 2000 meeting. The upcoming meeting is on this Friday,
10-27-00. Please send in your reservations with your choice of lunch to 
Rao M. Goriparthi at the address mentioned below. Thank you.

Hello Everyone:

The Cascade Chapter of the HPS will be holding its Fall meeting on October
27th, 2000 at the Red Lion Inn, Kelso. Lunch and meeting cost $15. Please
contact me no later than MONDAY, October 23rd with your choice of lunch,
if you plan on attending (contact info is given below). Thank you and see
you all there !!! 

				Tentative Fall Meeting Agenda:

9:30   am	Executive Committee Meeting
10:00 am	Registration/Refreshments
10:30 am	Chapter Business Meeting

11:00 am	"National and Regional Emergency and Anti-terrorism
Planning" Mike Howard, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)

12:00 noon	LUNCH

1:00 PM	"Richland, Washington Commercial Low-level Radioactive Waste
Disposal Facility - Past, Present and Future Operations", Bob Haight,  CHP,
US Ecology, Inc.,

2:00 PM	BREAK / REFRESHMENTS

2:15 PM	"Operation of a Radioactive Waste Processing Facility, Turlock,
California, and a Radioactive Waste Decay Storage Facility, Utah"  Rich
Gallego, Thomas Gray and Associates, Inc.,
