Update of the 1985 Radioepidemiological Tables

The East Tennessee Chapter of the Society for Risk Analysis will meet at
noon on Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, in the auditorium at 1060 Commerce Park,
Building No. 6. in Oak Ridge.  Brian Thomas and Iulian Apostoaei will
make a presentation entitled:  "Probability of Causation of Radiogenic
Cancer:  The Update of the 1985 Radioepidemiological Tables."  The
authors will present a short history of the National Cancer Institute's
Radioepidemiological Tables and will cover the main aspects related to
the estimation and interpretation of the probability of causation from
exposure to radiation.  IREP, the computer code currently being
developed at SENES Oak Ridge Inc. in support of the Radioepidemiolgical
Tables, will be demonstrated.
