POSITION AT BECHTEL NEVADA



Scientist

Bechtel Nevada has an immediate opening for a Scientist to assist in
planning and organizing radiation and health physics programs at various
work locations.  The primary work location is at the Nevada Test Site, 60
miles from Las Vegas, Nevada.

Candidate will compile data and participate in the preparation of technical
information reports detailing radiological and laboratory results; perform
analytical and developmental work and recommend solutions to various health
physics problems; perform technical evaluations and develop technical basis
for health physics-related activities.  Candidate will write reports
describing methods and results of evaluations; and develop and revise
radiological health policies, directives, and other company documentation. 

Candidate shall possess BS degree in a physical science or combination of
equivalent training and experience, plus a minimum of four years experience
in implementation of Radiological Controls programs.  Technical knowledge of
radiation protection systems, principles, calculations, methods, and
materials and ability to apply this knowledge in a radiation protection
program.  Current knowledge of industry and regulatory standards and
criteria pertinent to health physics.  DOE experience preferred.
