> hazardous waste from labs and shops. Package and mark hazardous materials
> for common carrier shipment. Provide expertise to faculty and staff
> regarding chemical spills, compatibility, storage, recycling and waste

> Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or directly related
> field plus two years related experience to include handling of hazardous
> materials or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer:
> One or more of following certifications: 40 Hour HAZWOPER; Commercial
> Driver's license with Hazardous Materials Endorsement; Hazmat Employee
> Training; OSHA 40 Hour. Working knowledge of the rules, regulations, and
> procedures related to the management of hazardous materials and the
> environment (e.g., Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Hazardous Materials
> Transport, OSHA, RCRA, etc.). Demonstrate good communication skills and
> computer skills including experience with Microsoft products. Ability to
> work in laboratory and loading dock environment as well as office.
