The last refs. in Rosalie Bertell's book "No immediate danger - prognosis 
for a radioactive Earth" (p. 392 (text) & 421 (refs. 51 & 52)) are to the 
Vatican and Pope John Paul II. It is about world peace. This is politics - 
not radiology.
