RCRA Training Modules

For all of you RCRA fans (read "victims"), I discovered a set of
training modules available for download, on the EPA Web Page. They are
current as of October, 1999, and provide what, for EPA at least, is an
English translation of key RCRA, Superfund, and EPCRA regulations. (The
first one to respond with the definition of "EPCRA" gets my most
sincere "attaboy.")

To reach these:

(1) Go to the EPA home page: www.epa.gov

(2) Select "Search" from the menue.

(3) Perform a search using the phrase: "RCRA, hotline training
module".

The key modules are: "Other Laws that Interface with RCRA", "RCRA
Corrective Action", "RCRA Statutory Overview", "Transporters",
"Definition of Solid Waste and Hazardous Waste Recycling", "RCRA
Enforcement and Compliance", "Tanks", "Generators", "RCRA Treatment,
Storage, and Disposal Facilities", and "Used Oil".

Even if you don't have responsibility for RCRA compliance, I suggest
that you read some of this; if nothing else, to understand that the
regulators don't just pick on nuclear.

The opinions expressed are strictly mine.
It's not about dose, it's about trust.
