Subject: Position Opening - Health Physicist

I recently listed the job opening described below and have received a large
number of responses, many from professionals with advanced degrees (MS and
PhD) or with 20-30 years experience, frequently engaged in research. These
responses are welcome. However, the position may not have been
sufficiently described. This is an opening where skills and experience in
operational Health Physics and regulatory affairs in environmental,
research, clinical and industrial settings are most important.

RSSI, Health Physics consultants and calibration and laboratory
services, located in Morton Grove, Illinois, has an immediate opening for
a Health Physicist. RSSI is seeking an individual with an MS in Health
Physics and limited experience or a BS in Health Physics or a related
science and several years experience. Candidates should enjoy working with
others in providing pragmatic solutions to technical and regulatory
problems. Demonstrated success in creating willing respect and winning
deserved trust are necessary. Experience solving environmental, research,
clinical or regulatory problems is desirable. A goal of ABHP certification
is a plus.

This is a permanent career development position. RSSI's long standing
successful relationships with clients and regulatory agencies depend
upon the technical and interpersonal skills, and the integrity of our
staff. RSSI provides technically sound, cost effective solutions to its
clients problems, frequently creating cutting-edge approaches to older
issues. Responsibility for client projects increases as a staff member
develops. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Continuing on the job training is directed toward honing existing skills
and acquiring new scientific and management skills. Please email a copy of
your resume <mailto:eport@rssinc.org> or call Eli Port @ 847-965-1999 for
more information.
