True science triumphs ...[Fwd: Bush-whacked on global warming?]



If this turns out to be correct, it will be one of the larger
disappointments  in some time. In the short run, it appears ignorance
can triumph over science anytime. But I'm nearing the end of this
lifetime and apparently won't get to see this one straighten out. What
a low blow.

Bush-whacked on global warming?

President George W. Bush plans to announce support for the regulation
of
carbon dioxide in tomorrow's speech before a joint session of Congress
(this year's version of the state of the Union address), according to
knowledgeable sources.

Regulating carbon dioxide may be tantamount to implementing the Kyoto
global warming treaty.

Didn't Al Gore lose the election?
