Of course I did not mean to imply that the entire background spontaneous abortion rate is due to radiation, only that radiation effects would not likely be observable at this point since the probable health effect of exposure to radiation during pre-implantation has been demonstrated to be spontaneous abortion.
 
I apologize for the implied inaccuracy.

I think you may want to reread this sentence.  It implies radiation is the cause of spontaneous abortions.
