The full abstract of this article shows that they found no statistically
significant effect in that "...the relative risk of lung cancer at 100 Bq
per cubic meter compared with at 0 Bq per cubic meter was 1.12 (95%
confidence interval (0.99, 1.27)) after adjusting for age, sex, smoking,
county of residence and social class." That means they should not be
reporting that there was an observed effect.
The abstract does not explain how many people in the study were exposed to
0 Bq per cubic meter.
