RE: POWER LINES, WIRING POSE HEALTH RISKS
In 1997, the National Academy of Sciences published a report entitled
"Possible Health Effects of Exposure to Residential Electric and Magnetic
Fields." Their conclusion was that there was "no conclusive and consistent
evidence shows that exposures to residential electric and magnetic fields
produce cancer, adverse neurobehavioral effects, or reproductive and
developmental effects."
This report can be viewed on-line through the National Academy Press website

Subject: POWER LINES, WIRING POSE HEALTH RISKS
The headline and summary really misrepresent the results of this study.
Have a look at the link for the whole thing.
