Re: Sewage Sludge LLD



Colorado has a solid waste regulation that says sewage sludge must be

below 40 pCi/gm gross alpha activity before it can be sent to a landfill

or otherwise "free released".  There are probably other limits, but

that's the one that gives people the most trouble.  Therefore, we try to

get a detection limit of ten pCi/gm or less.  It's not a requirement,

just good practice.
