Roentgens, rads, rems, etc.

Hmmmmmm,

There's a fellow sniffing around radsafe searching for quick and easy
answers about radiation units.  I'd recommend he get a copy
of Herman Cember's book on Introductory Health Physics and read the
first 5-10 Chapters.  Quality factors can equal one for photons, but are highly
variable for real world neutrons.  Read the book or consult with a
real Health Physicist.  That's what we're here for.

As for bubble dosimeters, Dr. Apfel of Apfel Enterprises (or whatever his
firm is called) has advertisements in the Health Physics journal.  The Ing
fellow (from Chalk River, Canada???) is also involved with bubble
dosimeters.  Their products appear to be very viable (over wide energy
ranges).
