Sadly, deaths from cooling towers are not merely theoretical as we learned

on April 27, 1978 at the Willow Island Coal Power Plant.  On that day the

worlds worst power plant accident occurred when 51 workers were killed by a

collapsing cooling tower.  But to some, human lives are trivial compared to

fish.



Environmentalists hold no candlelight vigils on April 27 in St. Marys, WV.
