Re: irradiated mail



No standard dosimeter can be used since the dose used in the sanitation process is 

approximately 5 megarads.



Instruments that have integrated circuits, microprocessors, liquid crystal displays are 

also significantly damaged.



Your alternative is NOT to ship via USPS. Go with UPS ground or some other 

mailing firm.
