Re: lots of responses, one email, easy deleting, low in calories



In reply to Lorraine and others who have raised similar questions, If you

wished to have a truly renewable based system, you would have to combine

Wind Turbines with other forms of renewable generation e.g. small scale

hydro (see other posting for comments on large scale hydro) or biomass, or

even pumped storage (bearing in mind that the wind doesn't stop blowing at

night).  These other forms of generation would act as a balancing mechanism

for the intermittent wind.
