Re: Why is it....
I've a miniature OED and two Webster's Seventh New Collegiate Dictionaries
in two significantly different states of wear. I don't know what I'll do
when neither W7NCD is useable. Maybe I'll just go mute. I'll use newer
dictionaries grudgingly only when I want to know the meaning of some
neologism but not otherwise.
How 'bout "proactive[sic]" for a POS neologism?
