MicroShield & Monte Carlo

I just had the "opportunity" to replicate MCNP input into MicroShield. Is it

normal for MicroShield to calculate exposure rates 1000 times lower than

MCNP? And why would the output of a rectangular cask (both programs) come

out as a point source instead of as a plane source?
