RE: dose limits for members of the public
I think it would be beneficial to them, and could eliminate a lot of
unnecessary record keeping and reporting currently performed for visitors.

Sure. I think it should be raised to 5 rem. 5 rem won't hurt radiation
workers, it won't hurt the general public. Think of the $$$ it would save
that could go to things that REALLY hurt people, like auto safety.
