RE: dose limits for members of the public



Except, of course, for the fact that you can read about people getting

killed/injured in car accidents every day, and may even witness one every

once in a while.  I have yet to read about or witness someone being killed

or injured by a dose of 25 rem or less.

Some of the various comments really tickle me. Some very good arguments,

but, 

it's comparing apples and oranges. It's sort of like saying, I drive a car,

and I have 

not not been injured, and obviously not been killed in one. THEREFORE, cars

are 

safe and do not injure people ... by reason of my personal experience.
