Guess they have pretty low expectations of success in their mission
statement: 0 for 3 after 50+ years. They probably visualize whirled peas
too. BTW, "unbiased" and "scientific" should be redundant. Unfortunately,. .

According to their mission statement, "FAS is the oldest organization
dedicated to ending the worldwide arms race, achieving complete nuclear
disarmament, and avoiding the use of nuclear weapons." Yep, not exactly
an unbiased scientific organization. They used to be the Federation of
Atomic Scientists back at the end of WWII.
