Meeting Announcement--13th Annual Thermo Eberline UserConference



The 13th Annual ThermoEberline User Conference will be held July 9th thru July 11th 2002 at the "New York, New York Hotel & Casino" in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Eberline User Conference is open to all users of Eberline, Xetex, NNC and ESM equipment. There is no meeting fee for participants registered at New York, New York. The meeting allows the participants to get together in an informal atmosphere to discuss common problems and solutions. Papers are presented with a wide range of topics relevant to the Nuclear Power, DOE, Medical, Industrial Hygiene and Health Physics communities.

The Eberline User Group Meeting will be useful for anyone responsible for Radiation Monitoring instrumentation, whether for operation, calibration, repair or regulatory compliance. Some of the subjects covered include: Radiation Monitoring Systems and Upgrades, Post 9/11 Rad Monitoring challenges, Passive internal monitoring, Free release criteria, RadNet, Personnel Monitoring, Laundry and small article monitoring, Scrap/Vehicle monitoring, HPIC, Automated Health Physics Data handling, Cobalt Coincidence Measurements, Developments in Neutron Monitoring, air sampling, Final site closeout surveys, Radon discrimination, ANSI-N323, and equipment repair and operational issues.
