Radiography overexposures
The equipment available and the required operating procedures are adequate
to allow radiographers to keep themselves safe. The problem lies in the
market forces operating in the non-destructive testing industry. Safety
doesn't make money for anyone. Speed is paramount and will remain so for as
long as the industry is structured the way it is. Radiographers are easy to
come by and expendable. Change that if you want to change the safety
culture.
