Re: Off Topic-Space Elevator





Despite your "true faith" in the danger of a single photon, not all of

your beliefs are false.  You are just human, and no human has all the

facts or all the truth.



The space elevator is an old, great idea, assuming that materials

science will come up with a cable of sufficient tensile strength.  It

could present great opportunities for mankind.  But what if a group of

concerned citizens mounted a successful PR campaign against it?  What a

sad waste that would be.  No one who understood the situation would want

to laugh.
