RE: cancer clusters



An article by Joel Cehn about the occurrence of clusters can be found in the IAEA Bulletin published sometime in the mid to late '90s.  Unfortunately, I do not recall the volume or issue number.  The visual example he gave that can be used to demonstrate clusters is to put an large, equal number of small white and black spheres in a large jar and shake them up.  You should always get clusters.  A uniform distribution of black and white spheres would be very difficult to obtain give the number of possible distribution outcomes from the shaking.
