(However, I believe it is incorrect in referring to the shipment as uranium

ore - my understanding is that it was uranium oxide - unenriched of course).

As mentioned on this last page, the uranium was confiscated by the US. Where

it went is a  mystery but there has been suspicion that some of it ended up

in the bomb that destroyed Hiroshima.
