RE: Tl-201

If I remember correctly its not actually the Tl-201 that is giving you the problem its more likely one of the impurities which I believe is Tl 202 that is the trouble maker.  Tl 202 has a 12.23 day half life.  I operate a WBC system at brookhaven National Lab and I have been able to see people with Tl stress tests that still light my counter up at 6 weeks.

Does anybody have info on the biological half-live of Tl-201 used in stress tests.  Does the inability to pass a portal monitor for 30 days seem excessive?
