Job position opening in Colorado

We have posted an opening for an additional staffer in our wonderful
Program here in Denver. The position is open to Colorado residents only
at this time. We recently posted an opening for Program Manager, that
application period has ended. We have a great program here, and never
have a dull moment. Colorado is a wonderful place to live. Please do

Information About The Job:
DUTIES: This position is responsible for issuing licenses for the use
of radioactive materials and inspecting facilities that use radioactive
materials. Position will review basic uncomplicated types of Radioactive
Materials License applications, send request for information when
required and write specific licenses. Position answers both written and
telephone inquires about Radioactive Materials Licenses and inspections
and accompanies inspectors on License Compliance Inspections. Position
will also participate in the department's response to incidents of
radioactive materials mistakes and /or accidents.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from an accredited college or
university with a bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics or a
related field and one year experience in the use of radioactive
materials. NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Formal training in health
physics. Regulatory experience in health physics either as a regulator
or as a licensee is preferred. SUBSTITUTIONS: Professional experience of
the type and nature listed in the duties above may be substitute for the
required education on a year-for-basis.
