RE: UF6

Natural assay (~0.72% U-235) UF6 is supplied by a Canadian company called Cameco for delivery to the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Paducah, Kentucky.

The cylinders should have been 48 inches in diameter and about 10 feet long.  They each contain up to 20,000 pounds UF6.  Because they are not enriched above 1% U-235 they are not required to be shipped in protective overpacks and their primary hazard is chemical.

Does anyone know why UF6 cylinders (ID 2978) would be travelling I-75 South through  Northeast Ohio?
