STAFF HEALTH PHYSICS TECHNICIAN 

(22CM2733) Department of Radiation Safety. Survey labs for radioactive

contamination and compliance to the safety program; pickup, transport and

assist in processing of radioactive waste; receive, survey, record and

distribute radioactive material packages; monitor patient rooms and

surrounding areas; calibrate survey equipment; and instruct personnel on

radiation safety policies/practices. MQ: Associate's degree in physical or

biological science, OR 3 yrs. related training or experience. Must

successfully pass a departmentally administered examination; be able to

demonstrate the ability to bend, reach, pull and push and lift up to 40

pounds without mechanical assistance; and must have an acceptable driving

record and a valid commercial driver's license within 3 months of

employment. Open until filled.
