Announcing a meeting of the Baltimore-Washington Chapter of the Health
Physics Society
Title: First Responder Activities in Montgomery County, Maryland
Speaker: Ted Jarboe, Deputy Chief and Fire Marshall,
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service

Mr. Jarboe will provide an overview of first responder activities in
Montgomery County including training, equipment and liaison with other
organizations.
Please note that there will be a brief business meeting between the dinner
and the featured presentation including an update on the current status of
the HPS 2004 meeting preparations.
Cost:
Members: $20
Nonmembers: $25

Agenda:
Social Hour: 6:00 to 6:45 P.M.
Dinner: 6:45 to 7:45 P.M.
Speaker: 8:00 to 9:00 P.M.
Menu:
Menu includes Chicken Lettuce Wrap, Shrimp Toast, Steak-on-a-stick, Sesame
Jumbo Shrimp, Asparagus Snow Peas Chicken, Crispy Beef, String Bean
Szechuan, House Lo Mein, Steamed & Fried Rice, Tea, Dessert

Please provide your reservation by Noon 10/8/02. Please e-mail your
reservation to man@cdrh.fda.gov or if you have no email access, call Mike
Noska at 301-594-3527. If you make a reservation and cannot attend the
meeting, please let us know because the cost of the meeting is based on the
number of reservations received. In the past, the Chapter has lost
significant money as a result of "no-shows". This is a waste of your dues.
