A report was produced in 2000 by the UK National Radiological Protection
Board for the Uk Environment Agency. This report was titled 'Investigation
of the sources and fate of radioactive discharges to public sewers. London,
Environment Agency, R&D Technical Report P288 (2000) Titley, J G et al".
Unfortunately as this report was a commercial work on behalf of the UK
Environment Agency it is not available from the NRPB at their reasonable
cost. It is however available from the UK Environment Agency, for the
princley sum of £45, approx 65 Euros/USD. Further details on both the report
and how it can be obtained can be found at the following URL:

I hope this is of some use.
Regards, Julian
