RE: chains in equillibrium
There is an 'old' article in ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY BY H. R. Kirby, Volume 26,
No. 6, June, 1954 pp 1065-1071 that has all the equations for Uranium-238,
Uranium-235 and Thorium-232.

The decay rate for all members of the chain is equal to the decay
rate of the parent nucleus for the chain.
