Two new position openings from Oak Ridge Associated Universities, posted at

HEALTH PHYSICIST 4 TEAM LEADER (Reference # 03-029, based in Cincinnati,
Ohio) Oak Ridge Associated Universities is seeking a senior medical health
physicist in its Dose Reconstruction Project to perform dose reconstructions
for medical exposures and to review dose reconstructions performed by
others. Requirements: Include, but are not limited to, an M.S. in Health
Physics or related discipline and 6-10 years of job related experience or an
equivalent combination of education and experience (i.e., B.S. in Health
Physics and 10-14 years of relevant experience). CHP required. Other
requirements include extensive health physics/radiation dosimetry knowledge
and experience; experience working in medical health physics, particularly
dose calculations for diagnostic radiology; technical team leadership skills
and experience; and interpersonal, training development and delivery and
problem-solving skills. May need to be able to obtain and maintain a
Department of Energy security clearance. For more information on the

HEALTH PHYSICIST 2 - - Oak Ridge Associated Universities has multiple
openings in its Dose Reconstruction Project for Health Physicist 2s in Oak
Ridge (Reference # 03-008) and in Cincinnati, Ohio (Reference # 03-016).
Duties will include working with staff; traveling to Department of Energy
(DOE) and contractor sites to discover, review and assess radiation
monitoring records and other records; and documenting details of research
efforts and results of data/records research. Requirements: includes, but is
not limited to, an M.S. in Health Physics or related physical science
discipline and 2-4 years of related experience or an equivalent combination
of education and relevant experience (i.e., B.S. in Health Physics and 6-8
years of relevant experience). Other requirements include general knowledge
of health physics and radiation monitoring programs, procedures, and
equipment; experience in methods and procedures used in monitoring for
internal and external exposures. Must be familiar with devices, instruments,
and practices used to monitor gamma, beta and neutron exposures and
exposures to radionuclides. May need to be able to obtain and maintain a DOE
