Radioactive Waste Shipping Specialist Position

Pangea Group, Inc. has an immediate need for a qualified radioactive material waste shipping specialist for a project located near Philadelphia, PA.  Primary responsibilities include oversight of waste loading operations, inventorying and tracking radioactive material quantities, development and maintenance of radioactive material databases, performance of required radiological surveys and completion of NRC/DOT shipping documentation.  Candidates must have current DOT and OSHA HAZWOPER training and at least two years experience in shipping of low-level radioactive material.  In addition, they shall have experience in completing necessary waste manifests, conducting radiological surveys and related other facility related shipping duties.  Candidates shall also be familiar with LLRW disposal site criteria, and computer spreadsheet/database programs.
