AW: Lifetime dose limit in Germany?

Eric,

Yes we have a lifetime dose limit in Germany. The limit is 400 mSv. But it

is possible to exceed this limit if the authority, a responsible doctor and

the person itself agrees. In this case the annual dose limit decreases to 10

mSv.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards

Betreff: Lifetime dose limit in Germany?

Can anyone out there tell me if Germany has a lifetime dose limit? I'd

heard 20 rem mentioned (0.2 mSv). If there are similar limitations

(regulatory, not just recommendations from ICRP....) in other countries,

I'd be interested in hearing what they are.

Thanks, Eric
