Double Edged Sword update.

To those interested in a digital copy of the Double Edged Sword and

especially those who have sent a SASE.



I HAVE A LETTER CONFIRMING PUBLIC DOMAIN STATUS.  So making copies is

not a problem.



I have also made a capture and compressed it to several formats - DVD,

SVCD and VCD.  I have also successfully made a DVD of another film - but

not yet DES.  I have also ordered a DVD player so I can do my own

testing and not bother my neighbors - should see it this week.  I am

still playing with formats that will get the best quality for a given

media.  This is my first venture into this realm.



Hopefully in a week or so I can be ready for production.



Realize also - I have been told that -DVDR is a hit and miss thing with

any given DVD player - regardless of spec - there is no predicting. 

Compatibility with computer drives is better.



We'll see.  You patience is appreciated.
