RE: reward

Three cheers for Dr. Cohen! He is truly a gentleman and a scholar. It is shameful that a few of his criticizers are not so gentlemanly. - Larry Grimm

I spent several hours searching the archives without success. If

anyone thinks that is easy, I will discuss the problems at some length.

However, s friend did find my original post and it is true that it did not

mention Letter to the Editor. I am still certain that I did state that in

subsequent messages, but that is beside the point. The message posted

previously on RADSAFE was 2 years after the original post, and was taken

out of context from a discussion thread. In any case, I have informed Dr.

Puskin that he has won the award.

My apologies for the trouble this matter has caused, and for not

having saved my original posting. To avoid this sort of problem, I hereby

withdraw my offer. My work is now being evaluated by an NCRP committee set

up for that purpose, and that satisfies my objective that my work will not

be swept under the rug.
