04 HPS Midyear - Call for Papers Extended

The deadline for submission of abstracts for the 2004 Health Physics 

Society Mid-Year meeting has been extended to August 15th.  The 37th 

mid-year will be held February 8-11 in Augusta, Georgia.  The topic is Air 

Monitoring and Internal Dosimetry. 



A special session has been arranged on the topic of Personal Air Samplers 

and their use in determining worker exposure.  This session will feature 

several industry  leaders on this topic and will include a panel 

discussion to allow the attendees to challenge the conclusions of the 

presenters.



Other major topic areas of the mid-year include:



- Workplace/Personal Air Monitoring

- Effluent Air Monitoring

- Environmental Air Monitoring

- Internal Dosimetry Correlation to Air Monitoring

- Air Monitoring for Homeland Security
