Why prospect for uranium? There seems to be a glut on the market right
now, with more to come from downblending of HEU from Russian and
possibly US sources. Add in the potential for reprocessing, and it
would seem to be quite inefficient to mine new sources, especially in
such a challenging environment as Newfoundland presents.
Maybe this is just cover for another diamond-pipe exploration. If you
want a great geologic story, read "Barren Lands" by Kevin Krajick. You
could believe that prospectors would go to great lengths to cover their
intentions.
